Byron Gabrielsen
Byron brings over 20 years of investment experience to Mesa Management. He has managed investment accounts, personal and family, since 1985. Byron holds a registered investment advisor designation. In addition, Byron holds a B.S. in Crop Science from California Polytechnic State University at San Luis Obispo, and an M.S. and a Ph.D. in Agronomy from Colorado State University in Fort Collins.
Byron has owned and operated Gabrielsen & Associates, an agricultural consulting business located in central California since 1994. Previously, he served several years as a Research Agronomist with the U.S. Department of Agriculture. Since 1989, he has provided technical analysis and litigation support on various aspects of agriculture, water and related issues in the Western U.S. His consulting clients have included large corporate farming operations as well as federal, state, and municipal agencies.
Dick Stanley
Dick has been managing financial assets since 1986. In 1994, he joined Kelmoore Investment Company. Over the course of 10 years, he traded client accounts, taught the Kelmoore strategy to the Kelmoore sales force, and brought the Kelmoore strategy covered option mutual funds to the market. Dick served as Chairman of the Board of Trustees for the mutual fund's parent trust, The Kelmoore Strategic Trust. He holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of California at Santa Barbara and an M.B.A. from Pepperdine University.
Prior to joining Kelmoore, Dick spent 20 years with IBM in computer sales and sales management positions. He also worked in the construction and real estate industries in the Bay Area as a general contractor and commercial real estate broker for 16 years.
